We are very relaxed, very calm and very patient, and with years of experience we’ll make their haircut as calm and gentle as possible using clippers that aren’t too noisy, or just scissors.

With children of our own, we understand some parents may worry how their child might react during their first haircut. You don’t need to worry at Drakes, we look after your children like our own.

We go above and beyond to make their haircut as enjoyable as possible, from balloons and lollypops, tickles and games, we will even play their favourite music.

For children who are autistic, suffer from ADHD, have physical difficulties or learning difficulties and are too scared to have a haircut, we can close the shop for added requirements at request. And if they don’t have their haircut, they don’t have their haircut. We want to help get them use to a familiar calm and relaxing place where ultimately they feel they can get their haircut.
